Core Functions of QEC
- Is to operates under the supervision of an appointed Coordinator, reporting directly to the Principal, to ensure quality initiatives are effectively implemented across all departments.
- Is to Promote public trust by ensuring that the quality of academic programs, student outcomes, and institutional services meet recognized standards, safeguarding the integrity of awarded degrees.
- Is to Regularly evaluate the quality of teaching, learning environments, assessment methods, and student performance across all departments to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with academic departments to develop and review program specifications, ensuring each program clearly defines learning outcomes, knowledge areas, and professional competencies.
- Oversee academic affiliations and partnerships to ensure they align with the institution's mission and quality standards, fostering meaningful academic collaboration.
- Design and implement quality assurance processes, including self-assessment and periodic reviews, to evaluate academic performance, faculty development, and curriculum relevance.
- Ensure all institutional quality procedures, policies, and academic offerings align with the requirements of KMU, Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Support professional development opportunities for faculty and staff to enhance teaching effectiveness, research capabilities, and administrative efficiency.
- Foster an institutional culture focused on continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and academic excellence.
